Do you guys have a fenced backyard? Maybe put her outside while you guys aren’t home, you can get one of those outside dog beds so she’s comfortable and then that’ll hopefully stop her from going to the toilet inside!

You could always get the fake grass pee pads from kmart. Helped transition our boy to grass

I know not everyone can do it but my mum and dads pup was a rescue doggy and she has been with our family 11-12 years now and everytime someone leaves the house they leave the radio on so she can still hear noise and it has helped tremendously since she was little they still do it now maybe give it a try and see if ruby might be the same ? 😌💕

can you put a dog flap/dog door so ruby can go in backyard to wee. shes treat focused so could definitely teach her to go outside on command or regularly. or buy from kmart a grass wee pad in the garage for when youre out/at work.

Honestly get a baby gate if u don’t want to close the door to that room. Also maybe leaving tv on with a show on or radio so there’s voices and Ruby doesn’t feel alone

For your fan noise white noise if you have a google home they have white noise on there you can set it up on the app so if you say “hey google goodnight” it will start playing so then your phone doesn’t have to be on or near you

that spray can take a few tries to deter them your meant to spray it like daily for a couple of weeks for it to work

Spray perfume on it I tried this with Gracie because she kept peeing on spare bed since I've spayed she hasn't gone near it 😃😃😃😃😃

I’d get it professionally cleaned roll it up and store it somewhere or sell it, and then just replace it with a Kmart rug for now 🥰

is ruby in a routine for bathroom breaks- reason I ask dogs need to be able to trust there owners or they become anxious- start implementing a bathroom routine from moment she takes up and them same time every few hours, I tnink you'll find she'll be less anxious when you leave as she knows when she can go next - always take out before going out as well them give small treat - you prob already doing this- I live in a unit with my golden retriever and I found a strict routine helped had no accidents ever
