Best decision ever! 3 years ago I had the Anterior Total Hip Replacement where the surgeon makes a small 4-inch incision in the front of the hip/pelvic area. Muscles are simply clamped out of the way instead of severed to get full exposure of the hip, femur ball joint. Rehab sucked but it's very necessary. I dealt with healing pain which decreased week after week. During the anterior procedure, the muscles are NOT severed.... which used to be wayyy more painful which resulted in a wayyy longer rehab and recovery process. I highly recommend the Anterior procedure. Life changing 💯

Hip resurfacing is a million times better than a replacement If you’re in need check that out first. It’s way more stable and will last a lifetime
