They give us new tools to make meaning and, so, you should think of crypto as a new medium which can take many forms—to see it only as money would be like using your phone only to make calls, or using the internet only for email. One last thing worth mentioning is that incumbents of the “old system” (ie powerful governments and private companies like World Liberty Finance) will not be the ones to innovate here, because they have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo that gives them power.
