Avengers 1 Cap jumps on an alien bomb, in Winter Soldier he chooses to give himself up to Bucky and let him kill him, AOU Cap says he’s not leaving until EVERY civilian is off Sokovia, in Civil War he obviously chooses to save Bucky and distract Tony in the final fight, in Infinity War when Thanos is in Wakanda and took down everyone else Steve runs up to him ALONE to try and stop him, and in Endgame he’s willing to sacrifice his life all alone against Thanos’ army before the others show up. Steve’s been waiting to die ever since he woke up he’s been making the sacrifice play his entire life that’s the whole point of “I can do this all day”
