To be honest both suck . Being a teen is already enough of a challenge even when you don't count mental health issues - the hormones ,the pressure , studying 1000 subjects you didn't sign up for ,not much control over your life . In your 20s yes you have more responsibilities and accountability and even more pressure to figure it out but you have more control over your life and your choices and can build your life unlike when you are 15 and have to depend on your parents/legal guardians on pretty much everything. Plus at 15 when you are depressed your depression can get blamed on your hormones which is just adding salt to the wound I am not saying any of this to invalidate your points . But yeah depression overall sucks ,it sucks even more when you can't just be depressed in peace

Because your life fallin apart at 15 because of your depression means some bad grades and maybe losing friends. Your life falling apart at 25 can mean homelessness, starvation, etc

Because in your 20s no one cares about you, you have bills, nothing to fall back on. You’re not allowed to take a break, the world won’t stop for you. Life really ends at 18 and just gets worse. Never believe people who say it gets better. What they really mean is, you just stop caring
