The reason I love this movie is because of its accuracy concerning boot camp. I experienced the same things, especially the footlocker scene. Additionally our DI's were not acting. They were genuine.

it does make you wonder if this is where some of the bad people see come from, in the movie the "bad guy" cracks, this is why vets scare me when I'm out riding my bicycle, you never know when they'll snap...
