👑 Habiba Abubakar Kasim Took Us Through the History of “AREWA” The Knockout Stage of the MPS Media Poetry Challenge 2026 – Arewa Edition, North-East Zonal Stage in Bauchi, continued with a rich historical and cultural performance from Team A under Coach Aishatu Hassan Muhammad. From Team A, 19-year-old Habiba Abubakar Kasim from Plateau State, performing under the stage name Kalma_Queen, presented her poem titled “AREWA.” 🎙️📜 Through her piece, Habiba took the audience on a journey through the history, heritage, leadership, creativity, and remarkable achievements associated with Arewa. Her poetry celebrated individuals whose talents and contributions helped shape the identity and legacy of Northern Nigeria. 🌾🏛️✨ She highlighted Queen Amina of Zazzau, whose leadership, courage, and military skills made her one of the most celebrated women in Hausa history. 👑⚔️ Habiba also celebrated Ladi Kwali, whose extraordinary pottery skills earned international recognition and helped place Nigerian artistry on the global map. 🏺🎨🌍 Her historical journey further mentioned Sheikh Usman dan Fodio, the Fulani Islamic scholar and reformer, as well as prominent leaders such as Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa and Sir Ahmadu Bello, whose names remain significant in Nigeria’s history. 📚🕌🇳🇬 She also highlighted Amina Kano and the remarkable talents of Jelani Aliyu, known for his exceptional automobile design and engineering creativity, demonstrating that Arewa’s story is not only about its past, but also about the ingenuity and talents of its people. 🚗💡🔥 “AREWA” became a celebration of heritage, leadership, scholarship, creativity, and the extraordinary people whose contributions continue to inspire generations. 🌍❤️✨ Habiba delivered an educational and engaging performance that encouraged the audience to remember the past, appreciate the present, and recognize the p
