@.carolgiselle: Morning Meeting is seriously one of my FAVORITE parts of the day because it’s where I get to build our classroom community 🥹❤️ This week I introduced the Cookie Jar Song to my class and it was an ABSOLUTE HIT 😂🍪 Now… I have a BIG class, so yes, this took a while 😂 which meant our Morning Meeting was a little shorter than usual. BUT watching my students have SO much fun learning each other’s names, figuring out who “stole the cookie,” and getting excited to participate made it completely worth it. Sometimes finding those little community-building songs and activities can be SO hard, so I wanted to share this one because my kids LOVED it! And one thing I’m big on: 100% participation. 🙌🏽 I want to SEE the movement. I want to SEE the excitement. I want to SEE the zest!!! 😂❤️ I’m constantly pushing my students to bring their energy, have fun, participate, and feel comfortable being themselves in our classroom.
