Mason Rincon, who delivered a walk-off home run in Bayonne’s opening win, homered again to put his team ahead 3-0. West Chester scored its lone run on a single in the top of the fifth inning but could not complete the comeback, dropping to 0-1 in the tournament. The win extends a remarkable run for the young players from Bayonne, the first Hudson County team to reach the Little League World Series in about 60 years, since West New York American in 1966. With the victory, Bayonne is now two wins away from representing the United States in the Little League World Series championship game.
