✅ Investor checklist - Part 2 ✅ So now hopefully you are in a position where your finances are optimised and you know exactly how much you can commit to investing every month, you now need to open a stocks and shares ISA. 🪜Step 4 - Open a Stocks and Shares ISA 🔍There are multiple different providers out there. You need to go for a provider who has low fees and a range of products for you to invest in. Do some research in terms of what you think will suit your investment appetite. 📈 For me, I think the best platforms are Trading 212, Vanguard and Freetrade 🏦 A Stocks and Shares ISA (Individual Savings Account) is a tax-efficient investment account available in the UK. It protects your investments from certain taxes, meaning: 1.	No Capital Gains Tax (CGT): Any profits you make from selling investments within the ISA are not subject to CGT, regardless of the amount. 2.	No Income Tax on Dividends: Dividends paid by investments in the ISA are tax-free, even if they exceed the standard dividend allowance. 3.	No Further Tax on Interest: Interest earned from bonds or other fixed-income investments is tax-free within the ISA. This allows your investments to grow more efficiently, as you retain all gains, dividends, and interest without paying tax. There’s an annual contribution limit (£20,000 for the 2024/25 tax year), which resets each tax year. 💻 I have a spreadsheet which can give you an idea of how I categorise my spending. Comment ‘BUDGET’ and I will send you the link to it. 👀 The next video in this checklist is coming soon. Keep an eye out for it! #Budgeting #Finance #Couplesfinance #Investments #Investing #stocks #BudgetTracker
