@dr.sanasultana: If your baby’s around 4-5 months, here’s how to start practicing tripod sitting 🧠 How to guide them into it: 1️⃣ Start in tummy position, then gently roll them onto their side 2️⃣ As they pull their trunk and neck up, help guide them into a sitting position 3️⃣ Let them lean forward, propping on their hands Why it matters: ✨ Builds core & back strength the foundation for sitting up straight ✨ Gets them ready for the high chair ✨ Huge milestone that leads right into crawling Wait for the tripod position before starting solids — not just the calendar date. Save this for when your little one hits this stage, and share with a mom who needs to see it. Follow for more baby milestones + what’s actually happening developmentally 👶🧠 #newmom #babysittingup #babymilestones #newbornlife #solids

Waittt this is how they practice at first?? We try with my 4-month old and he’s alwaysss leaning forward to grab his toes, I thought it looked so uncomfortable with a rounded back, but this is normal?!

Silly question - if they can’t sit up on their own, are they not ready for a high chair? My son sits up amazingly in his high chair (we put him in it only to see how he would do since we built it this past weekend)!

They said that her lower esophageal sphincter is weak and should strengthen as she gets older and starts eating solids. She’s eating well and gaining weight, but I’m still scared to leave her alone because I’m afraid she might choke or drown on her reflux. She doesn't arch or have tensions after feed.
