@jess.winginit: I will forever wonder how different my life would be if someone would have just helped me when I was 18 with twins and PPD. But instead here we are. #postpartum #ppd
🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️I’m through the worst of it now but damn drowning and being alone was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Imagine you just got home from having a C-section you spent four days in the hospital you get dropped off to your apartment that you live in alone with your newborn baby and you have to navigate doing every single thing by yourself while healing from a C-section and having a newborn baby. Drowning I don’t think that was the depth of what I was feeling. I don’t even think I was feeling.

This is one thing I wouldn’t keep to myself whether they understood or not. Not risking the safety of my children, if you’re struggling please reach out 💓 if not to friends or family then to a professional who does care/understand.

You’re still here and that’s showing so much strength🩷 and yess especially when you finally feel safe enough to say something and they hit you with “that’s normal” 😔🩷

Never dealt with ppd but I’ve lied about how I was a lot to avoid explaining to someone who didn’t truly care 😏

as long as there were not thoughts about harming your kids.. then that would be on you to get help asap. No matter how “hard” it is to explain.
