I’m from medical field so I can tell you what helped me and my patients. Retinol! But don’t put on your face 1% pure retinol everyday! You need to be careful with this one, it’s good to start with 0,3% pure retinol (the best you’ll find in dermo cosmetics, my personal fav is Pharmaceris pure retinol 0,3) remember that retinol needs patience and SPF. The second thing that helped me and some of my patients are tonics solutions with salicylic, glycolic, lactic acids (also from pharmaceris, it’s very gentle because those acids are diluted to 5%, it’s a bacteriostatic solution). For alternative treatments I always recommend using 20% azelaic acid but you need to remember to moisturize in the day a lot, SPF is required. For some herbal alternatives I recommend using ginseng water under the moisturizer and you can drink it as well just add some pansy. But for the most painful, deep under the skin one (sometimes they can be even cyst) the best option is to apply ichthyol ointment on the spot or instead some hydrocolloid dressing.

sweetheart im complaining about the single pimple because of how fucking traumatized I am after struggling with fungal acne at the age of 10-16 and every time i see a pimple im scared that it’s coming back. you have NO idea what people might have went through
