And I am LOVING every second of it. 💚😂 Every store I walk into suddenly has another Grinch section, another Grinch decoration, another mug, another blanket, another kitchen accessory, and now THESE NEW CUPS have entered the chat. Apparently, they are my new emotional support objects. Do I need another cup? Absolutely not. Do I already own enough cups to hydrate a small village? Probably. But do any of those cups have THIS particular Grinch on them? Exactly. Add to cart. 😂 At this point, retailers know exactly what they’re doing to me. Put the Grinch on an ordinary household object and suddenly my brain is like, “OMG, WE DON’T HAVE THAT!” It’s a cup. I have cups. But this is a Grinch cup, which is obviously an entirely different category and therefore doesn’t count toward the existing cup total. That’s Christmas math. Don’t question it. 💚 And let’s be real—these aren’t simply cups anymore. They’re emotional support cups. They’re coming to work. They’re riding around in the car. They’re sitting next to me while I watch The Grinch for the 400th time. They’re holding whatever beverage is currently helping me survive the day. Basically, we’re going everywhere together now. 😂 This is exactly why I knew Augcember was going to get dangerous once the holiday merchandise started hitting stores. I’ve spent weeks talking about my inner Grinch trying to escape, adding to my collection, Grinchifying the house, and waiting for Christmas decor to come out. Well… IT’S HAPPENING. The Grinch merch is arriving. My self-control is leaving. And we’re only on Augcember 21st. At this rate, by December I’m going to need an entire room dedicated to my Grinch collection.
