@sandip_adhikari8: Since I’ve been getting quite a few enquiries about the Bunga Trek, here’s the detailed itinerary for anyone planning to go. Day 1: Reach Ghachowk Gau from Harichowk by bus or jeep, then continue towards Khumai Dada. Day 2: Start early and hike through Korchan Dada towards Bunga. It’s a long day of around 8 hours, but the route is completely worth it. Day 3: Explore Bunga and enjoy the closest views of Machhapuchhre. From this side, you can also continue towards Mardi and potentially summit Mardi Himal, depending on the route and conditions. For the return, you can either follow the same trail or take the more challenging route through Pipar Lake. You should reach Ghachowk by around 7–8 PM. A budget of around NPR 15–16k from Pokhara should be enough for the trip. There is only one homestay at Bunga, so please contact Narayan Dai at 9806509377 in advance. If you’re looking for a raw, less explored trek near Pokhara with incredible Machhapuchhre views, Bunga is definitely worth considering.
