@ufdtech: Man, you hate to see Copilot coming, but we all LOVE to watch it walk away Microsoft is officially removing their AI garbage function from Excel, and they only added it like a year ago The word “COPILOT” followed by parenthesis was a way users could conversationally tell their computer what information they wanted to include in their spreadsheet function, but it came with a couple caveats that made it pretty much useless to quite a bit of people You had to be connected to the internet, have a Microsoft 365 Premium subscription, AND the thing SUCKED at math - so it was really only good at going through your emails or documents or whatever to pick out pre-determined numbers And while, sure, it’s cool that they’re chucking the function, Microsoft’s actually doubling down on Copilot features in Excel in other areas still, cause, I mean, they gotta eat still
