@the_italianproject: Four years ago, I couldn’t walk. I was incredibly sick and paralysed from the waist down, and I had no idea what my body would look like four years later. I certainly never imagined I’d be here — lifting weights, getting stronger and preparing my body for a completely different life. And that’s one of the reasons we’re making the move to Italy. I want to be strong enough to experience it all. The walking. The hills. The exploring. The travelling. The adventures with my boys. The everyday things that are so easy to take for granted. I’m not training because I want to look a certain way. I’m training because I want to LIVE. My body has already overcome more than I ever thought possible. Now I’m preparing it for what comes next. 🇮🇹🤎 Four years ago I was learning how to walk again. Now I’m getting ready to walk through Tuscany. And honestly… I can’t wait. 🇮🇹 . . #movingtoitaly #italybound #lifeafterillness #tuscanylife #movingabroad
