It seems the real reason it put the pool in their backyard even if they didn’t like it. It was so they could have control over it thus their son. And now their son is going elsewhere and not just staying at home and they are feeling that loss of control again.

As someone that worked in insurance they are 100% right. Even if it’s an accident they could lose the home. It’s not worth the gamble especially if you are not telling your insurance company or adding the coverage.

As bad as it sounds, I’d tell my brother/kid that they’re not allowed to hang out with C anymore, since his parents apparently think me and my brother/kid are spawns of Satan. See how long C keeps behaving when the kids inevitably tell him why they don’t/can’t hand w him anymore🤷🏾♂️

oh hell nah, the way those parents are like "well your kids are a bad influence bcuz yall have less money, and we will force our kid to go to college and get married and have kids" oh hell the fuck no. I hate when parents have plans/expectations like that for their own kid, thats a huge red flag. Your kid is their own person, they will decide whether they wanna go to college and get married and have kids. Maybe he doesnt even want any of this, maybe he likes boys, and these fuckass parents will make his life miserable with their crap smh. Poor kid. He will cut them off as soon as he turns 18 for sure.
