@inventionontt: Original Video Credit: IG/nelbakes Placed directly into the angled fountain stream, the apple remains suspended instead of immediately falling or being pushed away. Water flows rapidly around its curved surface while the apple spins and continually shifts within the jet. The behavior involves fluid forces created as the moving water interacts with the apple’s curved surface. The jet tends to follow the surface due to the Coandă effect, while pressure differences and momentum from the upward-moving water continually push the apple back toward a relatively stable position and support its weight. Similar demonstrations can be performed with lightweight balls suspended in streams of air or water. They provide a visible example of how fluid flow, pressure, momentum, and gravity can interact to create surprisingly stable motion without any physical attachment.
