Spiral potato 🥔. Ingredients • 1 large potato • Water (for soaking) • Salt (to taste) • Paprika (a pinch) • Black pepper (a pinch) • Cornflour / Cornstarch (as needed) • Oil (for deep frying) For the sauce: • 1 tbsp sweet chilli sauce • 1 tbsp barbecue sauce • A pinch of mixed herbs ⸻ Method of Preparation 1. Trim both ends of the potato and cut it into a spiral (spring-like) shape. 2. Soak the spiral potato in salted water for 10 minutes. 3. Remove from water and pat dry completely using a kitchen towel. 4. Sprinkle salt, paprika, and black pepper; massage well. 5. Add cornflour and coat the potato evenly. 6. Deep fry in hot oil until golden and crispy. 7. Mix sweet chilli sauce, barbecue sauce, and mixed herbs. 8. Entry 8 It’s starting to get tiring. The whole repetitiveness of it all. Wake up tired. Work. Eat. Do chores. Play games. Sleep. Wake up tired. etc It feels like i’m stuck in this loop that i can’t get out of. It’s like this looming cloud follows me around everywhere. Problems that i have yet to deal with sitting in the back of my mind, following me throughout the day. I think the main reason i find it hard for me to mane big decisions is that im scared of making the wrong choice. I don’t want to leave and go someplace else not knowing if I’ll like it or not. Maybe i had a wrong impression, maybe the environment isn’t friendly. I’m scared of ending up in a worse situation that i’m already in. Im finding that i get jealous when i see other people that seem to be successful. What did they do to get there? What do they do for work? I often wish that i wanted to just be a doctor or something. Just to have something to work for. A goal. I get jealous of people my age that know what they want to do for a career. I wish everyone had something they wanted to do by default.
