I’m sorry you went through that. I resonate with the first half of your video and agree with you. But the second half doesn’t seem to make sense to me in this context. Patrick was incredibly supportive of Lindsay. Took extended paternity leave for her and then worked from home. Hired a nanny. Always checked on her. If he did anything more people would call him controlling. Lindsay had so much help from Patrick and from parents on both sides. Also money for medication and for psych appts. But she consistently lied about symptoms and went to multiple doctors and didn’t dislocate the meds she was already taking to them. She failed herself and her kids.

The fact that you want your children to be protected from anyone who would hurt them, even yourself, proves that you broke the cycle. You are a fantastic mom. None of us are perfect, but you get up, show up, and improve yourself every day, and that is all any kid could ever need.

Thank you for making this video. I was a SAHM. I was a shell of myself by the time it ended. Me and my kids went through extreme Narcissistic abuse and no one knew it. He was charismatic, everyone thought he was great. I thought I was losing my mind. Everything is not always what it seems.

You were going to protect your children from you, if needed? That means you were a good mom. Also, I raised my children to work and make thier own money. never let someone take that away. Because freedom is knowing you can get yourself out of a situation when needed. so when, I have been in bad relationships, I have been able to get out...if needed.

Women are held to a much different standard than men, especially when it comes to raising children! This world judges women so hard! And the system is 💯 set up to keep women in bad situations. It's not hard to see that you've survived so much & that you also made sure to break the cycle. Take care of you too!
