How I feel about these hacks- and what I would do and wouldn’t do again: Taking my love of hacks to the great outdoors! As someone who loves camping but finds it so much easier when it’s all organised and cosy- I was looking for all the tips before our family camping trip. 1. Using plastic drawers instead of boxes, containers, or suitcases. 100/10 doing this every time. This is where our clothes, toiletries, and kitchen bits lived. Packed as is and didn’t have to unpack and organise on site. Genius! Ours are from @wickes 2. Pole hooks. 10/10Great for towels, lights, jackets, etc. Getting a few more for next time. @amazonuk find! 3. Collapsible cubes. 10/10 Had these lying around and they’re fab- they’re for the things that don’t fit in the drawers for quick access. We transported the bits in them in a container along with the folded cubes, and I organised everything into the cubes when we set up camp. 4. Old rugs! 6/10 If you’re someone who has moved a fair bit, you might end up having some unused rugs (area rugs are so specific to certain spaces!) like me. I packed these and used for ground cover instead of buying an expensive coir mat. It kept the floor warm and heat in. I love the look but rugs can be bulky to transport so I might think about going for the coir mat at some point. 5. Bell tents! 10/10 Not sure if this is considered a hack- but honestly having a tent you can walk upright in and doesn’t get condensation is ideal. Plus it looks cute? Our is 5M so large but perfect for a family of 4 with space for chilling “indoors” on rainy days. Ours is amazing and it’s from Bell Tent Boutique. It’s also always a plus if the campsite is fabulous and Three cliffs bay did not disappoint! #campinghack #familycamping #cosyvibes #travellingwithkids
