@cy_auw: Lisa's Room Lisa slowly opened the door to her bedroom. The moment she stepped inside, she saw that her girlfriend was already asleep. Carefully, Lisa walked over to the bed and lay down on the other side. She quietly stared at Jennie for a while, and once again, tears began to fall from her eyes. She eventually turned her back toward Jennie and silently sobbed into her pillow. Lisa closed her eyes, trying to calm herself down, when she suddenly felt an arm wrap around her waist. Her heart immediately began to race. “Hon.. I’m sorry” Jennie whispered softly. She rested her forehead against Lisa’s back while keeping her arm wrapped around her. Lisa remained silent, tears continuously streaming down her face and soaking her pillow. “I’m sorry for invalidating your feelings and ruining your peace of mind. I was wrong. I’m sorry” Jennie sincerely said as she gently caressed Lisa’s stomach with her thumb. “I was just so tired earlier, but I know that’s not a valid reason to invalidate what you were feeling.” “I’m sorry that from the very beginning, I didn’t pay attention to your feelings. I should’ve kept my distance from him while I still had the chance. I’m sorry, hon..” Jennie’s voice trembled as tears slowly began to fall from her eyes. “I don’t like him. I only see him as a friend. But if he’s going to be the reason we fall apart, I won’t hesitate to cut him off.. because you’re more than important to me.” Lisa quietly listened. She placed a hand over her chest as memories of Kai putting her arm around Jennie's shoulder came rushing back—The way he dropped her off earlier,  the moments they spent together, and all the things they might have done whenever they were alone. “If you’re thinking about what happened earlier..  We were really just practicing. I promise.” Jennie sniffed, her voice breaking. “I could never cheat on you, hon. I would never, ever cheat on you because you’re too precious to me.” “Please believe me and trust me, my love.” Jennie took a shaky breath. “I know I hurt you, so I’m willing to wait until you’re ready to forgive me.” Her arms tightened around Lisa’s waist. “I can’t.. lose you, Lisa.” “I love you.. so much.” Her voice cracked as she desperately tried to hold back her tears. Slowly, Lisa reached down and held the hand that was resting on her stomach. “Let’s sleep,” she whispered. That was all she said before closing her eyes again, tears still silently streaming down the side of her face. --- The Next Morning Lisa woke up early and quietly got ready for work. She didn’t wake Jennie up. She didn’t want Jennie to come with her to the market that morning. When Jennie finally opened her eyes, the first thing she noticed was the empty space beside her. Lisa was gone. Jennie reached for her phone and checked the time. Her eyes widened when she saw that it was already 9:00 AM. She quickly sat up. “Lisa didn’t wake me up..” she whispered. The memories of what happened the night before suddenly came rushing back, making her sigh heavily. “Maybe she doesn’t want me to come with her to the market yet..” Jennie lowered her gaze, sadness evident in her eyes. She grabbed her phone, opened her contacts, and without another thought, angrily blocked Kai’s number. Then she blocked him on every social media account as well. She stared at the screen for a moment, her jaw clenched.
