it's not that. what it is, is that you allowed them to use drugs inside that place which in turn directly affects those neighbors around you who don't use. You were having compassion for only those who were on the same level as you, not ALL.

The same thing happened to me after being homeless for 3 years when I was finally 18 I got my first apartment and I had about 8 blow up twin mattresses in my living room and room and I would have about 10-15 people staying with me each night bcs when I got a place to live I didn’t forget where I came from and I got evicted to because the apartments don’t like foot traffic I lost that apartment sooner than 6 months into having it but at least me and all the people I helped had a place for that amount of time

Phx is soo fkd up when it comes to homeless. its 115°. its a fkn attitude towards homeles problem. theyd rather assume things then Know why or how the person got their. surrounding cities are worse. i tell people, if you coming down to homelessness in Phx in the summer find a way to get to the west coast north..Az mind set 0 tolerence

let’s be real. respect to her but as someone who has worked property management in tempe, mesa, and phoenix. there are still occupancy laws (typically 2 people per bedroom) you cannot have 17 people in a studio apartment. and 90% of the time when you do a walkthrough on these units, they are disgusting, drug filled, and bug filled. it would be one thing to maintain the place, another to have a group of people in the room and letting it all build up and continue the same behavior that they have on the street in these rooms. it’s a lovely thing to help the homeless as it is a huge problem, but you can’t break the law and let them take over a room and except 0 consequences.
