what makes you change from being a good person, are those character traits you mentioned.. you think as a bad person is till you carry gun and go to rob others.. or till you kill or become excessively wicked? those are bad things no doubt... but those subtle traits you mentioned are also forms of bad things in other ways.. doing those things changes you from being a good person to a bad person. so many bad and wicked people genuinely think they are good people
