These types of radios always say “Prepping” or something to do with emergency situations. My question about that is…. If these types of communications run on 4G network they will be as useless as a cellphone in a real world event. Any type of situation under war games predictions says critical infrastructure will be the primary target. Which will be power and communications first. I don’t understand how these would be any different than cell based communications other than cell provider encryption. Even then, you will nave only a limited amount of time before the cell towers back up power generation is affected and no longer working.
