This is one of my favourite songs because it perfectly reflects what is happening in the world today. It speaks about the patience of Almighty Allah—how He sees everything that is happening: the suffering of innocent young children, the pain of the elderly, and the way people are killing and hurting one another. Today, people are turning against each other. Brother kills brother, and sister turns against sister, sometimes just for money. Sadly, true love, loyalty, and genuine relationships seem to be slowly disappearing. The great Ahmad Zahir sang this song more than 50 years ago, but its meaning feels even more powerful today. The world has changed completely since that time, yet the message of this song remains so relevant. Ahmad Zahir, I love you and your beautiful work for bringing such powerful poetry into music. And we all know that Almighty Allah is the Most Merciful and the Most Just. He sees everything, even when we cannot understand why He allows certain things to happen. Those who commit ظلم and cruelty will not escape justice, because the Day of Judgement will come. For now, Allah is watching everything. He is giving people time, and His patience is beyond our understanding.
