I deeply miss this animation style. Sure I know there’s things they can do so much better now, and my nostalgia is doing some heavy lifting. Record of Lodoss war was my first anime. I have been reading a lot of fantasy books around that time so this anime just blew my mind. Whenever i think of Elfs Deedlit comes to mind.
