Crispy Chicken Cheese Doughnuts Ingredients * 5 boiled potatoes, mashed * 400 g boiled chicken, shredded Spices * 1 tsp black pepper * Salt, to taste * 1 tsp paprika * 1 tsp garlic powder * 1 tsp onion powder * 1 tsp white pepper * 1 tsp chicken powder * 1 tsp crushed red chillies Vegetables * Green onions, chopped * Yellow bell pepper, chopped * Boiled carrots, diced * Green capsicum, chopped * Fresh coriander leaves, chopped Other Ingredients * 1 egg * 1 cup breadcrumbs * 3 tbsp cornstarch * Shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese ⸻ Method 1. Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash them in a large bowl. 2. Add all the spices and mix well. 3. Add the shredded chicken, chopped vegetables, and fresh coriander. 4. Add the egg, breadcrumbs, cornstarch, and a generous amount of shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese. 5. Mix everything until well combined. 6. Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into doughnut rings. ⸻ For the Coating * In a bowl, whisk together 1 cup all-purpose flour (maida) and 1½ cups water to make a smooth, lump-free slurry. * Dip each doughnut into the slurry, then coat evenly with breadcrumbs. ⸻ Cooking * Shallow fry the doughnuts over medium heat until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides. * Remove and place on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil.
