Chris P Taco :
sometimes, the boxes things can also be used to stretch things cheap, like instant mashed potatoes. shelf stable, cheap, and it makes a fantastic thickener, especially for things like stews

Walmart has the roasted whole chicken for a little over $4. It’s a steal!

Rotisserie chicken is usually the better deal with the same benefits $5/$6 for the whole bird. Most raw chickens are around $9/$10 and you still have to take the time to cook it, but it does taste better from home 😁

I have found that raw chicken is usually more expensive than a rotisserie chicken. My hack is that rotisserie chickens go on sale. I've gotten them for as low as 1.88. I pick the meat and freeze the bones if I can't cook them right away. One time I made three instapots worth of stock canned it and now I have the delicious broth for lots and lots of dinners! you have great tips
