A few minutes later, I was escorted to one of the 2 shower suites onboard. One is reserved for The Residence, while the other is shared between the 9 First Class Apartments. Inside, you’ll find premium ESPA toiletries, plush towels, and everything you need to freshen up during a long haul flight. You get around 5 minutes of hot water, which you can pause at any time, giving you more than enough time for a proper shower. I actually managed to enjoy 2 full showers and still had time remaining. Afterwards, I changed into the incredibly comfortable Giorgio Armani pajamas before returning to my apartment, where the crew had already transformed it into a beautifully prepared bed. It’s details like these that make the Etihad A380 First Class Apartments one of the most remarkable First Class experiences in commercial aviation.
