I remember my Lao great-grandmother telling me that her grandparents moved to Cambodia after Siamese troops burned their city. It’s pretty crazy to think that this happened almost 200 years ago. Today, there are around 10,000 Lao descendants in Cambodia, and we are descendants of those people who fled
