I like this guys thinking and responsibility to customers. Same way if business of the shop I worked at for nearly ten years here in Oklahoma. In fact the owner/technician I worked for was an advocate for the consumer. He firmly believed that educating the customer of the labor/diagnosis parts/parts replacement where important to the customer to keep a trusting relationship. Many customers at first believed they were being over charged or scammed but when he educated the customer they completely understood. No matter if the customer was a woman or her husband thinking his wife was taken advantage of we still educated the customer.

this is very true. People give me a hard time all the time about it not being "OE" parts. "I'll just go to the dealer". my last job in aftermarket dealers got parts from me aftermarket all the time and charged there customers for "Original Parts". but they were from the same manufacturer
