This is happening with my daughter right now at McDonald’s in Elizabeth NJ. She’s the only black person that works there. She receives less hours, only gets called in if someone doesn’t want to work, one girl showed off her paycheck over $1,000, my daughter works for 45 minutes then told to take a lunch and send her home only working 2-3 hours. Working every weekend to closing. I ask to see her schedule and it only shows her start time, never shows when she can leave, the manager tells her she can only leave when they tell her and they all left for the night and she’s was there from 3pm now it going on 11pm, I told my daughter to walk OUT NOW. I’m trying to explain to my daughter they are using you, but she’s so excited to be working, all the employees are Hispanic and don’t speak English. McDonald’s needs to look into this.
