exactly!! It was a momentary reaction from me when I saw the pics and moved on. the hashtage calling bts to disband proved to me that it was never about cb and his crimes, it has everything to do with rm and hobi being part of bts.

I think a lot of them it’s like a performative superiority morality.. they don’t care about victim of abuse they only care to hate on bts. I don’t know as an older army I think we have so much power that we can use to really put down Chris but them spent it on bts ? mood. when I got into kpop I was 17, I would have been very deep into this whole scandal, but now I'm like "yeah, they like his music like every other artist". I don't like what they did, I voiced my disappointment multiple times because I wish they had chosen not to go, not to post, not to take a picture with him. but also, I acknowledge that even my chronically online ass had no idea how deep CB's history of abuse was, because I was young when it happened and I'm not American

Clock it….this is exactly how I’ve been feeling. And to say oh Rihanna forgave him so we can too….1. We don’t know that 2. That’s HER lived experience and whatever she decides to do with it, is HER choice….the amount of people minimizing his CVS receipt wrap sheet and saying “oh but he’s so talented” no. He is a shitty person and doesn’t deserve the spotlight he’s been given, and I will stand 10 toes down on that.
