My test is when they’re like “what do you women lose by us existing” and I’m like “here’s a test: don’t call me CIS” and suddenly the flood gates open. The 30 page dissertation on what the word means, how it’s used, that it doesn’t matter that I don’t want to be called CIS because that’s what I am. It starts there and then when I respond “you think this is the first time I’ve heard this? I don’t care what the word means, I don’t like it” they IMMEDIATELY call me insulting names and attack me. It’s a test they have not failed once. I have NEVER heard “I can respect that you don’t want to be called CIS and we can respect each other” not once
