@bettersharp: Backlit shots often look flat and dark in RAW – but with the right masks, you can bring back the magic! 🌅 Here’s the complete workflow for a warm, moody Golden Hour look: -Basic & Color: Control exposure, raise shadows (-100 Highlights / +89 Shadows), and set the white balance to warm (+6.600 K). -Linear Gradients: Darken the foreground and sky separately (-1.56 Exp) to draw the focus to the center. -Sky Selection: Soften the sky by lowering clarity (-100) for a smoother transition. -Radial Glow: Target warm light behind the subject with radial gradients (lower Dehaze & Clarity for a true glow) – and subtract the subject from the selection! -Subject Mask: Separately warm up the subject and raise Highlights/Whites to make them pop naturally from the warm background. 💾 Save this post for your next sunset edit!
