We told one customer that recommendation is not free. She said she doesn’t know what we think we are doing that we are charging for. That we are just lucky to have clients that our recommendations work for and that she’s not sure but she will try us. Na once I delete account number from chat call my staff to NEVER take her payment. Even if it’s to just buy. Not all money is good money! Some money you will collect and you will enter trouble!

I know customers can be very troublesome, but let’s also be honest some vendors are troublesome too. 😭I recently had an experience with a skincare vendor. I made payment on a Friday after asking how long delivery would take. She said 3 working days. I specifically explained that I was getting a chemical peel and microneedling on Sunday and needed the products by Monday so I could start my aftercare routine. She assured me it was fine. I was even reluctant to order, but she kept calling and following up, so I eventually made payment and bought products worth almost ₦300k.Monday came. After 3pm, I asked if I would be getting my delivery that day. She said yes and later told me the rider was on the way. I’m in Ikeja, and she even has an Allen Avenue address listed on her page.Then she stopped responding. Around 6:57pm, someone claiming to be from her logistics department messaged me saying they were sorry because the rider had an accident. Okay, accidents happen, so I understood.Tuesday no delivery. I kept messaging, no response. I literally started begging because I had just had chemical peels and microneedling done and needed the products for my routine.Wednesday still nothing. Thursday, she finally responded and said I would get the delivery that day. I told her clearly that if I didn’t receive it before the end of the day, I needed a refund so I could continue my follow up routine. The rider eventually came after 7pm… and guess what? 😭 He brought only 3 out of the 7 products I paid for. I messaged the vendor and this woman had the audacity to tell me I wasn’t patient enough, so she couldn’t source the products for me. She said she had only just found two of the products somewhere that evening. This is what annoyed me the most this vendor has a “walk-in store” listed in her Instagram bio, has a website, and was sending me pictures from the website. I even went to the address listed on her Instagram expecting to find a physical store only to discover that she doesn’t actually have a store there. She collects your money first and then goes around sourcing the products. L
