I did a test once with an AI tool before submitting a cv. It told me I didn’t match the criteria because I didn’t have higher education. I had my bachelor’s and master’s degree in the cv. But I hadn’t used the words «higher education» anywhere 🤦♀️

I spent 3 years applying for internal positions. After I was rejected for a job that I perfectly qualified for, I reached out to the hr team for an explanation and was told I didn't have coding experience. I have a decade experience in the field. the problem? instead of saying CPT & ICD-10-CM everywhere in my resume, I had used the industry accepted "claims coding". neither the AI or the hr person knew that was an acceptable alternative.

I dont get it. You use a system for screening apllications. You should have visibility on nr of applications and nr of applicatio s rejected automatically. If those differ too much from expected/desired you investigate why. 'Its just the way it is' is lazy/negligent and will not solve the problem

I’m hiring for a position right now and the stupid software keeps telling me candidates are unqualified based on lack of familiarity with a really simple research tool that we’re gonna train you to use your first week on the job. I can’t figure out where it’s even getting that from.
