Here's exactly what to learn, based on what you actually want. Two kinds of people. Both of them BUILD — the difference is who they build it for. One builds for themselves: AI systems that run their own work, 10x faster. One builds to sell: the same systems, turned into a product people pay for. Same craft, different destination. And they start from the exact same base. It was never about the tools. THE BASE, built once, in order: → AI AUTOMATIONS — systems talking to each other (email → CRM → sheet), with an AI step in the middle. An email comes in, the AI reads it, decides which team, routes it. That was somebody's whole job — one example out of millions. → AI AGENTS — a worker on a loop with a stack of real tools: "research these 20 leads, score them, draft the outreach" — it does the whole thing. → AI EMPLOYEES — a coding assistant (Claude Code, Codex) running a real job end to end: a project, a second brain of your context, the skills to do the work.
