My moms hospice team was the best, a yr later I still get txt from one of her nurses and the Chaplan to make sure I’m ok

They made me feel like a horrible human for asking for a sitter for my husband so I could go to a dr appointment even my husband told me I had no right to ask his team for something for myself I just wanted to make sure he was ok so I could go to a fucking DR Appointment I want to leave I was not asked if I wanted to do this I also had a stroke almost 5 weeks ago

My Dad was in hospice and 1 of the days I was there I had a bad headache. I asked if they had any Tylenol. The girl said no it’s locked up. Told me to go next door to gas station.

I did hospice for 20 years, we informed our families of this…ever! single! family! member knew this. If the family does not know then shame on the hospice.

Lie. My husband's hospice nurse was actually fired because she was documenting care for him when he was in the hospital ICU room dying. Then they wanted to charge me for counseling after he passed when they never showed up at all to help in his final days. I refused.

When my aunt passed away this year at home in February hospice called and was going to set up appointments because apparently my aunt was on hospice which hospice nurse didn't even come out after she passed away at home and they never called to check on my aunt's family after she passed away.

Hospice told me about this. They called me Monday after my husband passed away on a Holiday weekend asking about his dog who never left his side and was laying next to him when he died. Told me dogs who go through this do not live long. He died 1 year later.
