@korinsutton: Is 10% Body Fat Really Too Lean? I hear this all the time... "Don't get to 10% body fat. It's impossible to maintain." My answer? It depends on the person. For some people, 10% body fat feels miserable. They're tired. Hungry. Irritable. Their workouts suffer. And if that's your experience, there's nothing wrong with maintaining a little higher body fat. But that's not everyone's experience. For the majority of my male clients, I recommend aiming for around 9–12% body fat if their goal is to: 💪 See their abs 👕 Feel confident in their clothes ❤️ Improve their health 🏋️ Maintain an athletic physique year-round The key is getting there the right way. We don't crash diet. We don't starve ourselves. We build sustainable habits, lose the body fat, and then reverse diet back up so they can eat more food while maintaining their results. Now... Once you start getting into bodybuilding levels of leanness—around 5–6% body fat or lower—that's a completely different conversation. That's where many people begin to notice: 😴 Poor recovery 😤 Mood changes 🍽️ Increased hunger 🏋️ Decreased performance I've experienced it myself. But that's because I was preparing for competition—not because it's how I live year-round. My goal isn't to stay stage lean. My goal is to stay lifestyle lean. Find the body fat percentage where you feel strong, energetic, healthy, and confident. That's the sweet spot. 👇 Comment "FAT LOSS" if you're ready to lose body fat the sustainable way, and I'll show you exactly how I help my clients get lean without living on chicken and broccoli or spending hours doing cardio. 💪🔥
