Sam deserved better than the dysfunctional shit. Dean is so trauma bonded to his brother he doesn't see the bigger picture for his little brother. I used to hate dean but John and Mary made him this way. He had to be the parent growing up.

Yes, they both made the pact that they wouldn’t try to bring each other back anymore, but it was always an unspoken rule that you were supposed to break it. The difference is Sam stuck to it, and Dean never did. He always tried to find a way to bring Sam back.

dont get me wrong i love dean and Sam, but I think its crazy how they all gave shit to Sam after that year, despite dean also doing the same exact thing for a year, where he dropped hunting and stayed with a girl, and I mean correct me if im wrong bc I dont fully remember, but dean never looked for sam when he was with Lisa, I think if anyone were to understand sam it would have been dean, but idk thats just what I think

Sam had NO way of knowing where Dean was. The only inexcusable thing was leaving Kevin to die. I’ll never forgive him for that. But at some point Sam had to live his own life. After everything he did and went through, I can’t blame him. Once he hit that dog there was no chance he was getting back into the life.

honestly i can understand both sides. i mean sam didn’t know that dean was in purgatory, he literally had nobody so he moved on like what else was he suppose to do? meanwhile with dean, if my brother didn’t look for me i would honestly be mad so but again i don’t think it’s any of their faults.
