I understand why this hurt you, and I’m sorry that what I did made you feel that way. I’m not going to tell you that you shouldn’t feel hurt, because I understand why it looks bad from your perspective. But I also need you to know that there was never an intention behind it to look for another partner or to do anything with anyone. Some of it was just me being curious/acting out of discomfort, and some of it was genuinely accidental. I’m sorry for that. But I hope you won’t take what I did as proof that you weren’t enough, because that was never what it meant to me.
