Holy Spirit wanted it in there. It wasn’t man’s ideas they were given by God. John signifies faith. Peter signifies law. John was closest to Jesus at the dinner. At the cross. John was the last alive and it all signifies something cool. Faith is what matters. John made it to the tomb first stating faith beats law. John was given Mary by Jesus. Mary is human and she did her job wonderfully. Peter asked Jesus “what about John?” Jesus told him if he wants John to live till he returns what is it to Peter. John was tried and tested and yet God didn’t allow John to die as the other apostles did. John is signified as faith because faith is all you need to be saved. The rest endured to the end. So Roman’s 10:9,10:13 John 3:16,6:47 give simple instructions on salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9 show us how. Roman’s 4:5 for the believer in faith alone grace alone Christ alone who thinks they’ve not done enough. So the thoughts I’ve thunk are this. If you’re here during tribulation then that means you’ll have to endure to the end. Since death will flee from those that seek it..this can only mean that it’s either the mark or the death of an apostle. I think the way they passed will be something people who profess to be Christian will have to endure. Just like in revelation when Jesus said they’ll come against you and put you in jail if you can survive 10 days and endure even unto death you’ll get a crown of life.
