Chef’s tip: salmon skin! Personally I love a crispy fish skin but if you’re like most people, you might wanna listen up and learn how to remove the skin from your own filets of salmon! Here’s some tips: -Keep everything dry! Pat the fish and your cutting board dry frequently for most traction. -Sharp knife! This is an always tip, but particularly important here -Flexible blade! This lets you manipulate and wiggle the knife down the filet best! -Go slow at first! It’s not a race -push and pull! Push the blade with slow sawing motion and pull the skin taught (when you’ve gotten really good you can pretty much leave the blade in place and just pull the fish!) -Call your mom!
