If you go into it with that preconceived belief - it’s over before it started. You’re going to seek out things to validate that fear bc you’re focused on it. Humans do this with everything. Have a good heart, go in with the right expectations and intentions. You’re taking a risk and a chance - you will undoubtedly fail with most relationships and it will suck but there’s good times in there too. Don’t take shit personally, learn what you can from painful lessons and try to leave people better than you found them

Ppl don’t leave when it’s hard. They leave when they feel disrespected, unvalued (not a priority), invalidated. So many ppl are so consumed with their own wants and needs that they forget how to reciprocate. It’s usually one giving as much as they can and the other giving little to nothing
