This isn’t 100% true. Newborns naturally get gas due to the new experience of milk passing through their intestines . They aren’t use to it and it’s the body’s way of trying to adapt. While some babies might be a bit sensitive to what the mother eats, the gas isn’t always a result of the mother’s diet. A fast let down from breast feeding can cause gas, bottles being used can cause gas. Many things can cause gas for the baby ( I got educated by my lactation specialist).
