@imn0trowan_xio: (Special Part) Eight years had passed. Eight years since Sage Kim closed the door behind Blair Yu. Eight years since she had whispered I love you through trembling lips and walked away before Blair could give her an answer. Sage had built a life far away from Seoul. She became successful on her own terms, eventually taking over one of her father's international divisions. She traveled constantly, met hundreds of people, and learned how to live without the person who had once occupied every corner of her heart. She told herself she was over Blair. She told herself so many times. She almost believed it. Almost. Because whenever someone asked her if she had ever been in love, Sage always smiled faintly. "Once." And whenever they asked what happened, she would simply answer, "We grew apart." She never said that she still dreamed about her sometimes. She never admitted that she still remembered Blair's favorite coffee. She never told anyone that she still kept an old photograph of them tucked inside the back of a drawer. She had tried to stop loving Blair. She really had. But some feelings don't disappear just because you desperately want them to. — Blair never forgot her either. For years, she wondered if Sage hated her. She couldn't blame her if she did. After Sage left, Blair's relationship with Yuna eventually ended. Not because of betrayal. Not because of some dramatic fight. Simply because Blair finally realized something she had refused to understand for years. She had been trying to love someone while constantly searching for someone else. Yuna deserved better. So did Sage. Blair spent years regretting the things she couldn't take back. The jealousy. The possessiveness. The selfishness. Most of all, the way she had assumed Sage would always be there. She dated afterward. She met other people. But nobody ever felt like Sage. Nobody knew her the way Sage did. Nobody made silence feel comfortable. Nobody remembered the smallest things. Nobody looked at Blair as though she was home. Eventually, Blair stopped searching. She convinced herself that perhaps some people were simply meant to remain memories. Until one evening, eight years later, she saw Sage again. — It happened at a charity foundation gala. Blair was standing near the entrance, listening to someone speak about an upcoming project, when the room suddenly became strangely quiet. She turned. And there she was. Sage. Older. More confident. Her hair slightly shorter, her expression calmer, her presence somehow even more elegant than Blair remembered. For a moment, Blair couldn't breathe. Eight years disappeared. She wasn't looking at the CEO's daughter. She wasn't looking at the woman who had built a successful life overseas. She was looking at the girl who used to sit beside her during thunderstorms because Blair hated the sound of thunder. "Sage..." The name escaped her before she could stop it. Sage turned. Their eyes met. Neither moved. Sage's expression changed almost imperceptibly. Surprise. Then sadness. Then something Blair couldn't quite identify. "Blair." Just her name. Nothing more. Yet Blair felt eight years of regret crash over her all at once. "You came back." "For good." Blair swallowed. "Can we talk?" Sage hesitated. Then she nodded. "Okay." — They found a quiet balcony away from the crowd. For several seconds, neither spoke. Blair looked at her. "You look happy." Sage smiled faintly. "I am." Blair nodded. "I'm glad." Silence. Then Blair finally said the words she'd carried for years. "I'm sorry." Sage looked at her. "For what?" "For everything." (continuation in the comments;>) #winrinaau #jiminjeong #winrina #fyp #au

(2) "I've always been slow." Sage laughed too. A small, genuine laugh. The first one Blair had heard from her in years. And somehow, that sound felt like coming home. — Months later, they stood together beneath the same old tree where they had spent countless afternoons as children. Blair looked at Sage. "Do you remember when we were seventeen?" Sage smiled. "You said we'd be best friends forever." "I meant it." "You weren't very good at the forever part." Blair winced. "Fair." Sage laughed. Then Blair became serious. "I don't want to be your best friend anymore." Sage raised an eyebrow. "No?" "No." Blair took her hand. "I want to be the person who gets to love you." Sage stared at her for a moment. Then she smiled. "Finally." Blair laughed. "Finally?" "I've been waiting long enough." Blair squeezed her hand. "Then don't wait anymore." Sage leaned her head against Blair's shoulder. For years, she had wondered whether some loves were simply meant to hurt. Now, she understood. Sometimes love didn't disappear. Sometimes it waited. Not forever. Not endlessly. But long enough for two people to grow into the versions of themselves capable of loving each other properly. And this time, Blair wasn't asking Sage to stay. She was choosing to stay with her. And Sage, after all those years, finally let herself believe that perhaps their story had never truly ended. Perhaps it had only been waiting for them to find their way back home.

(1) Blair's voice trembled. "I was selfish. I didn't understand what I was doing to you. I wanted you beside me, but I didn't understand that wanting you wasn't the same as choosing you." Sage looked away. "I was angry for a long time." "I know." "I hated you." Blair's eyes lowered. "I know." "But..." Sage paused. Her voice became softer. "I never stopped loving you." Blair looked up immediately. Sage laughed quietly, almost embarrassed. "I tried." Her eyes glistened. "I really tried." She looked toward the city lights. "I changed my number. I left the country. I buried myself in work. I dated people. I convinced myself that eventually I'd wake up and feel nothing." A small smile crossed her lips. "But I never did." Blair's eyes filled with tears. "Why?" Sage looked at her. "Because you were my first home." Blair couldn't hold herself together anymore. She wiped her eyes quickly. "I thought you hated me." "I did." Sage smiled sadly. "But I missed you more than I hated you." Blair stepped closer. "Do you still love me?" Sage went completely still. It was the question she had secretly imagined for eight years. She could have lied. She could have protected herself. Instead, she whispered, "Yes." Blair's breath caught. "But I'm not the same person anymore," Sage continued. "And neither are you." "I know." "If we do this..." Sage's voice trembled. "You can't love me because you're afraid of losing me." Blair nodded. "I won't." "You can't be possessive." "I won't." "You can't expect me to wait around while you figure out what you want." "I won't." "And if you choose me..." Sage's eyes filled with tears. "You have to actually choose me." Blair reached for her hand. This time, she didn't pull away. "I choose you." Sage stared at her. Blair's voice broke. "I should have chosen you eight years ago." She gently held Sage's hand. "But if you'll let me, I'll spend the rest of my life making sure you never have to wonder again." Sage's tears finally fell. "You really took eight years to figure that out?" Blair laughed through her tears.
