🤔 Here in Canada we have similar problems with algae blooms and invasive plants. What I wonder is could these water plants be harvested and turned into fertilizer? Seems like a lot of bioavailable material that would easily break down...🤷♂️

No no .don't do that. remove the hyacinth totally. otherwise the hyacinth you chop up breaks down to feed new hyacinth growth

Just clean your sewerage system. Hyacinths thrive if only the water is extremely contaminated
